The green gas booster is a compressor between the regional and the national grid. Green gas is injected into the regional grid at various locations. Given that the pressure at these locations is low, households and companies can extract green gasfrom the grid right away. In summer, however, demand for gas drops, while green gas is still produced at the same rate. This is where the green gas booster comes in, as it can up the pressure of the green gas in the regional grid to the level required for the national grid.
